Southern Crescent and The Village

Southern Crescent lies just over a hill one half-mile south of the Village at Galisteo Basin. Its private, approximately 3- to 9-acre lots are arranged along a crescent shaped ridge that cradles a community orchard and open-space area and links to miles of trails throughout the proposed 12,800-acre Galisteo Basin Preserve. Oriented on gentle south- and west-facing slopes, the Southern Crescent neighborhood is protected to the north by the Lamy Crest, which embraces the Village and is home to New Moon Overlook.

The neighborhood is connected to the Village via trails and a community road that also intersects with State Highway 285.
